Dragdis – Drag and Drop bookmarking made easyLeave a Comment
As a designer, I constantly find links to really good sites for inspiration, code snippets and in general things i would like to look at in more detail later, though simply do not have the time in the working day.
If my memory serves me well, I stumbled across the fantastic FREE tool Dragdis, through Inspiration Feed via Twitter.
Now, we are all guilty of bookmarking pages and not bothering to look at them again, I know I am. I think in my experience, the reasoning is because everything is hidden away in a folder you need to navigate your way through to after many clicks.
Dragdis has a browser extension, which allows you to ‘drag’ absolutely any item on a page into collective folders which pops out at the right-hand side of your screen. Collect images, texts, links or videos to your private folders or post directly to Facebook, Twitter. I personally have mines divided into folders, such as code snippets, inspirational quotes, websites, mockups and print design etc.
You can also share your folders privately, so you could set up a folder for projects with clients, with a mixture of collectives.
This has definitely helped me organise my workflow better, with an organised one click entry to my sources.
Try it out for yourself.
